Cody Borchers Testimonial |
|
Hi! my name is Cody Borchers and I have a Marathon Deck. For those of you that know me, snowmobiling is my life! I depend on my trusty ol' diesel and my well built Marathon Sled Deck. They are must-haves in my line of work! I depend on the stability of my sled deck to hold up through my season, with loading and unloading my sled anywhere from 300-400 times a year. I can always count on my
Marathon deck to be rigid and strong.
The design of a
Marathon deck is like no other. This company had taken these decks to the next level by creating a user friendly simple concept and turning it into an everyday workhorse. Whether you are driving down the highway, logging roads or having parking lot parties,
Marathon decks are built to withstand all terrain. The parts are kept simple for the new people to this sport and built tough for us seasoned veterans!
What I like most about these decks is the thought that goes into the manufacturing. They have added multiple holes on the side of the deck to make securing your toys easier. The expansion panels on the top deck are incredible easy to adjust (my girlfriend can do it without me!). They have also added access to your box through an optional top deck access hatch. That way you can get everything from the front of your box as well! Then the best part of all....the ramp! It's a thing of beauty! Especially the added safety feature of the self locking devise that hooks into your deck when you are loading. You never have to worry when loading or unloading again, no matter where you are parked- level or not! Also the vertical telescopic sliding design is something I have not seen before. It works like a charm. It has never jammed or binded together, it just slides every time! Under the deck the ramp tucks right up to the top so you can maximize your underneath storage and allowing you to use all your space.
I would recommend Marathon decks to anyone getting into the toy world, and I would recommend
Marathon to anyone that wants to upgrade to a well built easy to use deck. You can trust the design of
Marathon to stand up to all your toy needs winter or summer. Mine has never let me down!
Just remember, "It's not what you drive.....it's what you ride!"
Thank you

Marathon brings a whole new meaning to truck decks! I always thought a deck was just a deck...until I got my new Marathon Truck Deck!
The things I really love about this deck are: the ability to slide the sides in when I don't need a wide deck or when I’m just hauling one sled or my Yamaha Rhino. The ramp rocks! Its nice to have a long expandable ramp that makes the loading and unloading angle safe and easy! It also locks onto the deck, so you don't have to worry about it ever coming off when loading or unloading. The deck comes with both SuperClamps and SuperGlides which are the icing on the cake! You will wonder how you ever lived without them! The Superglides have traction and are even great for loading your 4 wheelers and motorcycles!
The options for the Marathon deck are amazing! I got the deck extention that allows me to add 2 feet to the length of the deck, best of all I can fold it up (or easily remove it) when I don't want it hanging off the back. Marathon also makes a really cool side load bar that slides onto the side of the deck so the ramp will lock onto it and you can load your 4 wheelers up the side. Then you just move the bar and ramp to the other side and drive straight off the deck, really cool! I was able to load my Yamaha Rhino up the side of the deck and park it sideways, then drive it straight off! Nice and easy!
Marathon’s deck really looks cool too! Mine is polished and has some really visible LED lights that make my truck stand out at night! Yeah, I recommend Marathon Decks; their quality is top notch and the people at Marathon ROCK! The product just plain works! I plan on leaving my deck on year round as it is the same size as my truck box and grows to accommodate my toys! The plywood top is even sealed, so water doesn't drip all over my gear stowed below! These guys thought of everything!

CKMP - Carl Kuster Testimonial |

My living is made in the backcountry and Marathon Decks provide me the best durability and function to service myself and Carl Kuster Mountain Park clients. They are simply the best deck in the market.
I have use Marathon decks for the past 8 years, the decks are extremely durable and provide me fastest load times and by far the easiest to use. Even when I am by myself the light weight ramps are easy to maneuver. At CKMP we often ride early into June, to get to the snow this means long stretches up narrow logging roads with many switchbacks which eliminates trailers options.
I could choose any deck or trailer combo out there...but I continue to use Marathon decks because of the quality, durability and easy to use in every situation you can encounter. They simply just make more sense.

In keeping with their philosophy of continuous improvement, Marathon Truck Decks has added another safety and convenience feature to their #1 selling Snowmobile and ATV truck decks. Marathon’s patented and industry leading telescopic ramp now comes with traction!
When asked to explain, company spokesman stated that Marathon re-engineered their proprietary telescopic ramp to accept “Super-Glides,” a sled/ATV glide that replaced the traditional puck-board ski runner on all Marathon 10’ and 12’ telescopic ramps. Super-Glides not only enable your snowmobile skis to track straight when loading, they also give traction for your feet when walking up and down your ramp. No more slipping! This safety addition also enables you to load your ATV without reversing the ramp—a definite bonus for all you quad riders.
After 6 months of rigorous testing Marathon is proud to offer this enhancement to their truck decks—all at no extra cost to either dealer or consumer. “Safety knows no cost, at Marathon we strive to offer the best and safest product at a value-leading price point.”

We have been using Marathon Decks for over two years. Before that we used a homemade deck and cannot believe the difference. Being able to install the Marathon with only one other person is convenient; and loading and unloading sleds by yourself is no hassle at all!
I guess you could say we're not the average weekend warriors. My deck gets used day in and day out. My ramp gets pulled out and used four times a day--minimum four days a week.
In the two years I have had my Marathon Deck I have never had to replace any parts, tighten up any loose screws, or weld any cracks. If Marathon Decks can hold up to the wear and tear of a rental business; they are way over-built for the weekend warrior--simple as that!
Thanks for everything guys!

his is my first Marathon Deck. After getting it this season I really started to notice how many Marathons are out there! I have had 4 other brands of sled decks that would do the job...but I was constantly heading to my local welder to have cracks repaired and I was constantly cursing the two piece ramp!
I have a Sled and ATV rental business and really put my Marathon Deck through its paces all year long. This season I drove a Turbo Apex and a XP Rev 800 ; I put on 7000 km in the mountains and had sleds on that deck from December to May!!! My Apex is no lightweight and I NEVER had to weld or straighten anything on my Marathon. I love the telescopic ramp-- especially the locks on the hooks and the new anti-slip guides on the ramp!
Last week I had two XT quads on my Marathon and noticed it had cool tie-down tabs underneath the headache rack so I could just use the ATV’s winch to secure the front. My buddy Jason was helping me load and was whining that his Lotus deck deck didn't have those tabs.
Here is a picture with my buddy Dan Davidoff and my sleds on my Marathon in the background. Another great day on the mountain! I and am already chompin’ at the bit to load my sleds on my Marathon and head out this December!!!! .
