ALUMINUM.  After silicon and oxygen it is the third most common element on earth.  At Marathon, we began developing industry leading aluminum fabrication processes in 1967.  From that date forward, close collaboration with recreation and commercial users has continually improved Marathon’s industry solutions.  As a result, Marathon combines state of the art manufacturing with high-tech material choices to produce products that withstand a multitude of mechanical stresses and functional requirements. 

Over a decade ago Marathon started manufacturing ATV and Snowmobile decks for the recreation and commercial market.  We chose to manufacture this product from aluminum due to its strength, light weight, and durability. Adding to this is the company-wide expertise we have developed over our 40 year history in fabricating aluminum.  The use of aluminum alloy and proprietary aluminum extrusions allows Marathon to pay great attention to detail—rendering our products aesthetically pleasing and permitting us to maintain consistent manufacturing parameters.  These consistent parameters are part of what sets us above the competition— Marathon has earned the title of industry leader in ATV and Snowmobile decks because this is our core product.
