TRUCKBOSS TRUCK DECKS - NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS
TRUCKBOSS is designed to provide safe, convenient, and solid transport platform for power-sport vehicles. TRUCKBOSS attaches to your truck box rails using systems similar to the attachment of toolboxes, cargo racks and other weight-bearing accessories. Your truck box rails have been designed for this purpose.
Handling characteristics of your vehicle may be affected when operating near your vehicle’s maximum payload. Be aware that a TRUCKBOSS Truck Deck loaded with power-sport vehicles will raise your vehicle’s center-of-gravity; necessitating care during cornering, braking, and emergency maneuvers. Accelerated wear may occur to vehicle components if precautions are not observed when operating a vehicle at or near its maximum payload. TRUCKBOSS will provide years of service under Normal Operating Conditions.
Normal Operating Conditions:
TRUCKBOSS has been tested and rated at 2000lbs under Normal Operating Conditions.
2000lbs load rating applies to TRUCKBOSS Truck Deck only, follow your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications for payload ratings.
Normal Operating Conditions are defined as:
a)
Evenly distributed loads that do not exceed the GVWR of your vehicle.
Evenly distributed loads that do not exceed the GVWR of your vehicle.b)Transportation of ATV’s (or equivalent loads) for personal recreational purposes from your home/storage to a riding zone.
Transportation of ATV’s (or equivalent loads) for personal recreational purposes from your home/storage to a riding zone.c)Travelling on highways/roads conducive to normal vehicular traffic.
Travelling on highways/roads conducive to normal vehicular traffic.If you exceed normal operating conditions you may be a Heavy Duty User.
Heavy Duty User:
You are a Heavy Duty Deck user if any of the following categories apply:
1)You are a Commercial User
You are a Commercial User2)You regularly haul two full size ATV’s (or equivalent loads) on your Truck Deck.

You frequently drive on unpaved roads.4)You drive in conditions where a high-clearance vehicle is recommended (non-graded or unmaintained roads).

It is recommended that Heavy Duty Users install a TRUCKBOSS Support Kit to assist in the distribution of weight over your truck box. TRUCKBOSS Support Kits are unobtrusive and will not interfere with the normal ability to carry cargo in your truck box. Look for TRUCKBOSS Support Kits in the Accessories section of our website.
